As we move through our day-to-day routines, it is easy to get sucked into the minutia and forget about the larger perspective. This is especially true in the world of pest control. It is far too easy to see the one pest that is driving us nuts and not connect it with the larger factors that are promoting its presence. In order to help keep our focus balanced, Rove has put a committee together to focus on sustainability.
Pest Control as a Sustainability Measure
Pest control is more than a public and personal health service. Pest control is also about maintaining harmony and balance in the environment. As we change things in our landscaping and structures, we have an impact on the environment around us which in turn impacts the wildlife including insects, arachnids, rodents, birds, etc.
As pest control providers, we focus on finding and resolving the imbalances that are conducive to negative environmental and pest state outcomes. Catching these conditions early and correcting them avoids larger issues from developing down the road.
Sustainability – The Macro Level
As much as our expertise focuses on the small critters of the world, we are keenly aware of the role that we play in the larger environment perspective. At Rove, we have put together a committee to be on the lookout for opportunities to both diminish negative environmental impact as well as add positive contributions. Sometimes this is in the form of fuel-efficient or electric travel options and others it is in providing discounts to neighbors to get serviced at the same time. Even smaller efforts such as paperless communication and opportunities for remote work when desired help build the greater good.
